Your role will be pivotal in encouraging students to explore the richness of human experience, cultures, and civilizations.Position: Humanities TeacherLocation: Melbourn, CambridgeshireContract Type: Full-time, PermanentStarting Date: September 2023Salary: £30,000-43,500/yearKey Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver well-structured lessons that align with the schools curriculum and educational standards.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students participation and intellectual curiosity.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them reach their academic and personal goals.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods, resources, and technologies to create an interactive and stimulating learning experience.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.
  • Assess and evaluate students progress regularly, and maintain accurate records of their academic performance.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians, keeping them informed of students progress and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Stay updated with current educational trends and advancements in the field of humanities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • QTS, QTLS, PGCE, Bachelors degree in Education, Humanities, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • Valid teaching certification/license.
  • Proven experience as a Humanities Teacher or relevant teaching experience.
  • Deep knowledge and passion for history, geography, and other humanities subjects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
