Job Description

Step Teachers are working on behalf of a secondary school between Royston and Cambridge that is seeking a Humanities Teacher to join their proud Ofsted-rated Good school dedicated to strive their students to mature into young successful, kind adults.The role will start in January and will be for a long-term teaching role, this role could continue or further opportunities through Step Teachers partnership schools.The role will require:

  • Have strong curriculum knowledge from KS3 through to KS5
  • Have the ability to plan and teach engaging, inspirational lessons across all abilities
  • Have the adaptability and suitability to fit in with a well-established team.
  • Set high standards and expectations for the achievements of all pupils.
Requirements
  • Hold QTS or the equivalent of
  • An undergraduate degree is desirable
  • Have recent experience teaching Humanities subject
