Job Description

On-going development of key market sectors, services and client base, alongside profitable growth has seen the organisation develop a global reputation for excellence and service quality.A Group Financial Accountant is now sought by this industry leading group to run revenue recognition in compliance with IFRS15.Key Responsibilities of the Group Financial Accountant

  • Run internal assessment of revenue recognition on consulting projects to ensure compliance with IFRS15
  • Be the key point of contact for revenue recognition with external auditors, ensuring high quality audit evidence is provided on a timely basis from multiple teams
  • Support accounts preparation, month end consolidations and reporting for UK and group entities
Skills & Attributes of the Group Financial Accountant
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience of audit, either as an auditor or as a key audit contact
  • Experience with revenue recognition accounting in a services contract environment
  • As a technically minded accountant, you are able to research accounting issues and apply them to commercial circumstances, clearly explaining your conclusions to all stakeholders
  • Able to work with a diverse range of people. With strong communication and influencing skills, you are approachable whilst being able to provide robust challenge, including to senior leaders.
