A London based fund management businesses disruptive technology fund has had strong performance and asset growth recently. They are hiring an Equity Analyst for their fund focussing on disruptive technologies with a focus on robotics and automation. The investment universe includes companies involved in industrial robotics, drones, autonomous vehicles, general automation, surgical robots, 3D printing and artificial intelligence.The successful candidate will be passionate and knowledgeable about disruptive technologies and especially automation and robotics.The client will consider two types of candidate1/ The candidate should have a minimum 3 years of work experience (ideally 5-7 years+) in equity research in either public of private equity, with in-depth knowledge of fundamentally driven bottom-up analysis and stock picking. Applicants with knowledge of the IT/Tech, Industrials, Automotive or MedTech sectors will be particularly suited to the role. This position will give the analyst exposure to a wide range of companies in the theme from multiple sectors, geographies and market caps.2/ A software engineer, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer or PHD/MBA with experience of working in the type businesses they invest in who wants to transition to a role such as this. This individual must have a strong understanding of the underlying technologies of the businesses in their investment universe.Responsibilities & Duties
