Job Description

  • Role: Accounts Assistant
  • Job Type: Permanent
  • Salary: £21,000
  • Location: Caldicot
  • Monday - Friday
Cove Recruitment are partnering with a thriving National Automotive group who are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to work as part of a successful Accounts Team at their site in the Caldicot Area.Key Responsibilities:
  • To assist in the preparation of files and returns for both internal and external auditors as required.
  • To prepare ad-hoc information for the Regional Accounting Team as required.
  • Posting of Vehicle & Customer payments & control of associated debtors.
  • Process daily banking.
  • Chasing and investigation of vehicle debts with relevant dealerships.
  • Provide support in the above areas in the event of Holiday & Peak times.
  • Posting of bank statements and bank reconciliations.
  • Processing supplier invoices
  • Reconciling supplier statements in preparation for payment runs
Requirements:
  • You will be organised, analytical and have a good attention to detail.
  • Ideally you will be able to use all Microsoft packages.
  • You should have a passion to start a career within the accounting/finance sector.
