Job Description

The Kindertons Group are looking to recruit a Motor Claims Insurance Manager.The incumbent will have accountability for management & control of all indemnity spend for Kindertons own fleet claims ensuring strong technical leadership, best practice claims handing and governance of the self-drive insurance policy.Responsibilities will include

  • Management of all processes for claims against the Kindertons Self-Drive Hire Policy delivering efficient and effective cost management from strong intervention and cost mitigation delivering low loss ratios.
  • Management of financial budget of £6.5m, tracking and reporting to business as to how this budget is spent, advising business on release of funds back into the business
  • Manage, motivate and lead the Self-Drive Team members performing frequent technical and performance management reviews
  • Maintain and develop relationships with suppliers, exercise oversight and governance
  • Identifying risk trends and advising fleet Ops accordingly
  • Identify and manage fraud claims against the business
  • Management of debt book of approximately £800k (repairs and loss of profit)
  • The successful candidate should have knowledge and experience of
  • Management of indemnity spend
  • Personal injury including the MOJ portal
  • Financial Budgeting and Reporting
  • Proven track record in Operations Management
  • Awareness of At Fault processes, FCA procedures, TCF and conduct risk framework.
  • In-depth understanding of the Insurance industry with a bias to at fault claims processes
  • Whilst the skills and abilities below are considered to be required
  • Must have strong leadership and people management skills
  • Possesses the ability to resolve operational issues in a timely manner as and when they arise being responsive to work provider’s requirements
  • Ability to interpret and analyse management reports Ability to motivate others, set objectives and attain targets
