Job Description

Our residents are at the heart of everything we do.We have a full time opportunity for a Lettings Officer to join our expanding team in Exeter!As Lettings Officer, you will be providinginformationon how to end a tenancy and carry out property inspections to advise what is expected of the outgoing resident to reducerechargeableworks orders, and to speed up the process of re-lettingthe properties.A large part of your role will include carrying out in depth interviews with applicants to assesseligibilityfor housing and therefore having adiplomaticandconfidentialapproach is keyrequirementof this position. Other responsibilities include:

  • Advertise our properties online
  • Provide advice and guidance to customers following this interview and decide on eligibility and offer of accommodation
  • Visit properties within your area to provide video viewings for potential residents
  • Pull together relevant documentation to be signed via Docusign, and arrange handover of keys
  • Ensure that Property Services are notified of all tenancy terminations received, and record all empty homes and potential empty homes
