You will work with senior management within the related businesses to develop strategic plans and objectives and targets which meet the health safety and environmental needs of the businesses and conform to the strategy and objectives of the Group and UK’s health and safety programme and provide specialist expertise, advice and guidance to Senior management across each of the SIG UK businesses.You will also be responsible for the monitoring and reviewing the effectiveness of policies and strategies including coordinating reports and supporting the business in developing, measuring and reporting on KPIs.The following skills and experience are required:• A nationally recognised health & safety qualification (NEBOSH Diploma / Occupational Health and Safety NVQ5, or equivalent)• Proven experience of devising HSE policy and management systems in either logistics, distribution, warehousing ormanufacturing sectors, with strong competence in Risk Management, Risk Assessments, Safe Operating Procedures, Accident Investigations and Auditing.• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills and ability to work and plan your own time• Proficiency in all MS Office packagesAbout us…SIG Plc. is a leading supplier of specialist building materials to trade customers across Europe with strong positions in its core markets as a specialist distributor of insulation and interiors products and as a merchant of roofing and exteriors products.
