Class 2 HGV Service Driver - Exeterphs Group is the leading provider for Hygiene Services in the UK, Spain and Ireland. With over 90,000 customers over 300,000 locations and we are looking for a Class 2 Healthcare Service Driver to be based within the ExeterInterviews will be held at the following location:Exeter Operations Centre,Unit 1-2 Kennford Road,Marsh Barton Industrial Estate,EX2 8LYThis role is a full-time permanent vacancy. This position is suitable for both female and male.Salary pending experience however will be discussed at Interview stage.A little more about the role!As the face of phs, you will deliver great customer service, collecting waste products. This will vary from clinical and pharmaceutical to hazardous and non-hazardous waste products from our Healthcare Customers. You MUST be willing to undertake training for the ADR licence as discussed as this will be a necessity for the role.You will be using Soft Compaction Vehicles, designed specifically for the service we provide.Ideally you will hold, or be willing to acquire, specialist qualifications that are required for this role, including ADR categories 6.1 and 6.2You will follow planned routes, using PDA devices to confirm collections, manage any site access issues and produce electronic consignment notes for our customers. We use in-cab technology but if you can operate a satellite navigation device and a smart phone, you will have no problem with these.Safety and legal compliance are a must. We welcome applications from people with a good safety record.Essential qualifications are a Category C (LGV Class 2) license, current Driver CPC entitlement and a valid Digital Tachograph Card. An ADR license with 6.1 & 6.2 is advantageous but full training can be provided for the right candidate if this is required.To be eligible for this role you will have held a full driving license for at least 12 months and, have attained the appropriate LGV Cat C License. You cannot have no more than 6 penalty points and no IN or DD endorsements of less than five years then you could be what we are looking for.Due to the nature of waste we handle, all drivers must have vaccinations against Hepatitis B, tetanus/polio. Hepatitis A is also advised.
