Job Description

Were proud to be recruiting an enterprising Trainee Paraplanner on behalf of a leading local financial services business going through a period of rapid expansion and success.Based at stylish contemporary offices in a picturesque rural setting, the successful applicant will play a crucial part in supporting the Business Owner and Wealth Managers by carrying out various responsibilities, including administration, meeting preparationand producing suitability reports.This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment to embark on an exciting career path in financial planning.Salary and benefits:

Hours of work:

As Trainee Paraplanner, you will have the following duties and responsibilities:
  • Maintaining accurate client information on Salesforce.
  • Preparing client meeting packs and sign-up forms.
  • Liaising with clients, third parties and advisers via e-mail, telephone and in person.
  • Processing new business, completing fund withdrawals and other transactions.
  • Working alongside the technical paraplanning team.
  • Helping the advisers prepare for client meetings, ensuring all necessary documentation is produced.
Were looking for a Trainee Paraplanner with the following skills and experience:
  • Previous experience in administration, ideally in a financial or analytical environment, is essential.
  • Demonstrates a keen interest in building a paraplanning career.
  • IT proficient, with a good knowledge of MS Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Professional and engaging communication style, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to liaise confidently and effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Evidence of producing professional documents and correspondence to a consistently high standard, with excellent grammatical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Works with a positive, team-focused approach.
