Job Description

Do you have great 1st line support skills (and maybe some 2nd line), and have a customer first approach Maybe you havenot quite found the right opportunity for you to achieve your IT career goalsWould you enjoy working in a collaborative and friendly team where you will have the opportunity to work on key IT projects and also receive ongoing training and IT accreditations Your role will be to support, manage and maintain the Microsoft Windows based desktop systems offering reliability and continuity for all IT users across multiple locations. This role will also offer you the opportunity to be exposed to and learn wider IT technologiesincluding server and networking infrastructure. Working for our client you will have the opportunity to work for a stable and secure organisation preforming a critical role in both 1st and 2nd line support With this role you will receive continuous training and development to enable you to grow your skillsand responsibilities in this progressive IT environment. We would like you to have at least 1+ years IT support experience (ideally 1st/ 2nd line) in the technologies below. Dont worry if you havent got them all. There will be the opportunity to pick up new skills!Experience of working in a service desk environment. Desktop troubleshooting skillsKnowledge of LAN/WANExperience working with Citrix.Experience supporting telephone systems, mobiles, etc.Knowledge of Windows OS 10Knowledge of Active Directory Strong communication skills, business awareness and a customer focused approach Conscientious, self-motivated team player The team operate on a slight shift pattern covering the hours of 8:30am-6:30pm, Mon-Friday, and also for two hours on a Saturday, remotely, on a rota arrangement.
