Job Description

  • Fully equipped with the best in breed tech you will own outbound B2B sales campaigns (emails, calls, video-mails, social selling and events) to generate leads on well-identified niche markets to achieve your monthly & quarterly revenue quota
  • Work closely with the founder, learning managers, and marketing to strategise key target verticals and opportunities
  • Handle qualification, demos and closing from inbound leads
  • Understand customer needs and buying cycle to gather key prospect information, generate interest and bring in successful customers
  • Report on individual activities and pipeline in order to provide important performance and revenue metrics for management
  • Develop in-depth product and customer knowledge, market insights and all major competitors
  • Help shape the future of the company mission with your perspective, ideas and creative skills
Skills and experience required:
  • 3+ years experience in a people related organisation, ideally within higher education, professional services, technology, or sport
  • 3+ years of outbound new business quota carrying software, technology or business sales experience
  • Experience of selling HR Tech / L&D software is desirable
  • Successful history of new business sales, with the ability to prove consistent delivery against revenue targets
  • Proven track record of selling software or technology into accounts with a min of 50 employees
  • A team-player at heart with a winning mindset - knowing that there are easy days and hard days and the ability to get through them both
  • Pipeline management and ability to work complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
  • Exceptional people skills: strong active listening, empathy and ability to develop and nurture relationships
  • Leadership potential - our client is growing, and they want you to grow with them
  • Exceptional verbal, presenting and written skills
Hours of work
  • Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm with a 30-minute lunch break
  • Location: remote first, you will be required to join occasional team days in Leicestershire
  • Hybrid working pattern is available if the successful candidate wishes to be based in the office more regularly
Salary and benefits:
  • £35,000 - £40,000 + bonus
  • 26 days annual leave (+ bank holidays)
