Job Title - Quality EngineerLocation - Market Harborough, LE16 7ULSalary - £competitive + generous benefits and hours of workingDuration - Permanent / Full TimeSector - ManufacturingWe are seeking to hire an enthusiastic and energetic Quality Engineer to be responsible for all aspects of quality inspection and accreditation - could this be you Do you want to be the integral part of a growing company that’s focus is on maintaining and enhancing its commitment to quality standardsThermal Issues is a small manufacturing company based in Market Harborough, supplying clients across a wide range of industries including Telecomms, Aerospace, Automotive, Lighting and Power supplies with components of thermal management and electrical isolation.You will be someone who is looking for a role where you can develop and progress alongside a young company, with your goal being to maintain our existing ISO9001:2015 and AS14001 standards whilst aiming to improve and achieve AS9100 or TS16949.The responsibilities for the role will include:· Inspection - to inspect at all stages, first off, patrol and final inspections to maintain our high-quality standards.·Reporting - Managing and creating MRR and NCR where necessary.· Process Implementation - Initiating and implementing quality plans and ensuring they are adhered to.· Reporting to QA standards - FAIR and PPAP· Health and Safety - understand HSE requirements and take a lead in ensuring the company meets legislation.· Quality Management - to maintain existing ISO9001:2015 and AS14001 standards and continuous improvement to achieve AS9100 and/or TS16949.The successful Quality Engineer will have:· Proven experience in ideally an Automotive and/or Aerospace environment possibly as a tier 2 or tier 3 supplier.· Be familiar with all aspects of QA· Worked to and maintained ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001.· Knowledge of requirements and standards of AS9100 and/or ISO/TS16949.· Engineering degree/BTEC would be ideal but not essential if you have precious experience of engineering discipline.· Ability to read drawings and write 1st article inspection reports.You may have a background of the following QA, Quality Inspector, Quality Technician, Quality Engineer, Quality Manager, etc.No terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate on the grounds of gender, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, religion, or belief, and we confirm that we will gladly accept all applications.
