Job Description

Interim Manage0ment Accountant£20 p/h (interim) / £40,000 per annum (FTC)Leicestershire Hybrid working availableAre you immediately available and looking for your next roleDo you have an interest in working for an exciting, well-established business that works internationallyMacildowie are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a brilliant business on an ongoing interim basis or on a 12 month FTC basis (depending on the preference of yourself). This role is a broad accounting role which is principally responsible for working with and supporting 3 subsidiaries.Responsibilities

  • Month end management accounting and reporting including preparation of income statement, balance sheet, variance analysis and commentary.
  • Review and analyse cost of sales, labour, production, and administration costs.
  • Prepare month end journals including accruals and prepayments.
  • Reconciliation of balance sheet items including the fixed asset register.
  • Dealing with imports of raw materials and working with the purchasing team to ensure all VAT documentation is correct.
  • Prepare a detailed budget with income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement, and information per cost centre.
  • Reconciling stock to the balance sheet and detailed analysis reporting on stock obsolescence, count in and outs and scrap monitoring.
You will be/have...
  • Available for an immediate start!
  • Part qualified/qualified CIMA/ACCA or be studying
  • Expert MS Excel skills Vlookups and Pivot Tables
  • Experience in working efficiently to meet deadlines whilst demonstrating attention to detail
