In the 2020/2021 business year, TGW generated a total turnoverof 813 million euros.TGW focus is on ‘learning and growing’ no matter what the stage of your career.Overview:We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice.You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete an DTS Level 6 Apprenticeship.This is a three year degree program starting from Level 4, progressing to Level 6 at the completion of the apprenticeship.Program guide:qabsc-digital-and-technology-solutions_12jul23_v10.pdfLocation:Primarily based in Leicestershire, LE16 7FQ.With occasional travelling to our other site in LE16 7PS.Main responsibilities:

  • Providing 1st/2nd line user support through calls with employees and logged issues on the ticketing system.
  • Manage and troubleshoot the TGW communications systems using appropriate tools.
  • Proactively working on on-going issues and identify common issues from reports, identifying root causes and collaborating with IT Services Team locally and TGW wordwide IT Services to implement any changes or deliver training and instruction to users.
  • Escalate any 3rd line issues to next level where required, whilst still acting as a key point of contact for the user until resolution.
  • You will also be involved with the support and maintenance of networks, servers, laptops, workstations and software packages.
  • Delivering training, instruction and guidance to users

Entry requirementsA Level 3 qualification in a relevant area in any grade. Acceptable qualifications include:
  • 2 A levels in one or more similar subject
  • Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject
  • International Baccalaureate at Level 3 in a similar subject
  • BTEC Extended Diploma in a similar subject
  • A Work experience route (2-3 years) in a similar subject-related role
Note: “Similar subject” relates to areas directly relevant to or commensurate with “Digital and Technology Solutions”As to what constitutes a ‘similar subject’ this would therefore typically be areas such as but not limited to Level 3 digital apprenticeships, A-Level/BTEC Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, Software Engineering, etc.Note: Learners must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject.For more information, please visit the UK ENIC website.
