Job Description

Family SolicitorLocation: Market Harborough, LeicestershireSalary: Very Competitive + Excellent BenefitsOur client is a community-focused legal organisation who value hard work, respect, and provide a supportive environment. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Family Solicitor to join theirteam. Youll be responsible for a diverse caseload of Private Family matters, including divorce, financial remedies, cohabitation agreements, and child-related issues.Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of Private Family matters.
  • Handle divorce and dissolution of civil partnerships.
  • Navigate financial remedy cases.
  • Assist with cohabitation agreements.
  • Address issues concerning children, such as access, financial provisions, and separation agreements.
  • Perform fee earning work with precision, adhering to quality and risk management procedures.
  • Maintain a network of contacts and referrals.
  • Attract new clients and referrers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues during busy periods.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 4 years PQE experience.
  • A demonstrated history of handling divorce, financial remedy, and private law Children Act cases.
  • Resolution accreditation or a similar professional standard recognition (desirable).
  • Proven ability to attract new clients through referrals and successful business development.
  • Proficiency in IT, including familiarity with Outlook, Word, and case management systems.
