Job Description

Accounts Assistant / 9 Month FTC / Market Harborough / Hybrid Working / Up To £13phMacildowie are excited to be partnered with a fantastic local business recruiting for a passionate Accounts Assistant to join a successful and forward-thinking business based in Market Harborough for a 9 month Fixed Term Contract. Located in central Market Harborough this is easily accessible via Train.This is the perfect opportunity for immediately available candidates or those on short term notices.Details:

  • Up to £27,000 per annum
  • 9 Month FTC - possible extension
  • Full Time
  • Hybrid Working - 3 days office / 2 days Home
Role & Responsibilities:
  • Control of the purchase ledger - matching, batching and coding invoices
  • Control of the sales ledger - Raise invoices, checking nominal codes and ensuring the correct charge of output VAT.
  • Completing Payment runs on a regular basis.
  • Reconciling the accounts
  • Credit control - chasing debt and producing aged debtor reports
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
To be successful in this role you will have/be:
  • Experience working in a similar accounts related role
  • Experience working on finance ERP software
  • Possess a positive can do attitude
  • Work well as an individual or with little oversight
