Job Description

Do you have experience working within a buying team and are looking for a new role - this could be the one for you You will be joining a tight knit team in a fast moving and growing organisation, based East of Peterborough to support them in the next stageof their growth plan. The business benefits from clear direction, recent investment in systems and process, and strong management. The role is office based.Account management

  • Provide support to the Key account manager to manage customer accounts, provide information and drive sales.
  • Opportunity to grow own accounts as experience builds.
Product Development
  • Work with the Buyer and Product designer to develop, progress and deliver products to various channels.
  • Prepare and collate accurate relevant information to enable product set up
  • Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships.
  • Liaise with suppliers on quality issues.
  • Manage the critical path; sample management, briefing suppliers, presenting costings, collecting all product information, signing off carton markings and managing photography.
  • Maintain technical files where applicable.
Marketing
  • Support the key business areas such as merchandising and sales, including sales agents; communicating new launches and promotional activity to various channels.
  • Manage monthly newsletter communications.
  • Assist in development of marketing strategy including social media and website launch.
About you
  • Previous experience of working with in a Buying Team is preferred but not essential.
  • Professional & positive attitude.
  • Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Professional & self-driven work ethic.
  • Effective time management and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong IT Skills- Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
