Job Description

Our company has new and exciting job opportunities for SIA licenced Security professionals.The job is demanding but also rewarding. Job Role: Checkpoint/ Security OfficerLocation: The roles are based in Port TalbotPay Rate: Starting from £9.63 to £10.88 per hour increasing with on site training

Hours: Normal hours of work are 12hrs per shift, based on working shift pattern including days, nights and weekends averaging 42hrs per week with optional overtime.About UsFounded in 1859 by Captain Sir Edward Walter, was a business initially built to provide employment for ex-servicemen on return from the Crimean War.   • Managing access control for employees, visitors and contractors
  • Gatehouse Duties
  • Conducting Patrols
  • Conducting temperature checks in line with Covid 19 precautions
  • Dealing professionally with incidents and unexpected events
  • Maintaining records for auditing purposes
  • Report writing
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in security
  • Five years checkable history and references An SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license is essential for this role
  • You must be a team player
  • Must be adaptable to cover a variety of roles (training included)
  • Driving licence (preferred)
