Acorn is currently recruiting on behalf of thier client who are a well known & established Steelworks Subcontractor for HGV Class 1 Drivers (tipper experience desirable) for ongoing / permanent positions in Port Talbot Steelworks.Working on a 4-on-4-off shift rota, the successful applicant will be transporting material such as coal & coke on site in a tipper lorry.Class 1 C&E Licence is required.You do not require Driver CPC or tachograph.A CCNSG Site Safety Passport - or the ability to obtain one - is required.You will require a flexible approach to working hours, as overtime (paid at premium rates) and holiday cover will be expected. In the region of £34,500 - £40,000 per annum.Plenty of overtime 30 days paid holiday.Pension contributions on a PAYE basis.The successful applicant will be subject to a pre-employment medical examination and substance abuse test.If you have the relevant license and experience, please apply with an up-to-date CV.
