Asset Integrity Engineer - RailWe have an exciting permanent opportunity for an asset integrity engineer on behalf of our client based in Port Talbot. You will be joining a leading steel producer company which distributes to a wide range of markets, including automotive, construction, packagingand engineering. You will primarily co-ordinate, control, manage all engineering aspects and services with Rail infrastructure. This will include maintenance and projects required in all works areas within the business.Requirements: * Previous Experience of a supervisory role maintaining Rail Track assets* HNC (minimum) in Project Engineering or equivalent with Rail / Civil / Mechanical / Structural maintenance background* Experience in a heavy industrial environment would be beneficial but not essential* A working knowledge of pertinent health and safety legislation is a must* In depth knowledge of CDM 2015 & Temporary Works is required* Personal Track Safety* Track hand back and inspection competence would be beneficial* PWI Track Engineering Diploma and S&C Refurbishment would be advantageous* Experience of manage the inspection and maintenance of assets to Rail Track StandardsResponsibilities: * Improve engineering standards, implement positive changes in working practices, have the ability to understand and implement the Tata Steel Track standard through a variety of contract solutions* Deliver rail projects of a potentially complex nature* Co-ordination and Interaction with Process / Production Stakeholders, Site Asset Engineering team, Stores and Civil specialists* Form relationships and arrange mutually beneficial engineering solutions* Be fully conversant with CDM Regulations 2015 and Temporary Works requirements and ensure this is managed throughout all projects and maintenance works where required* Deliver projects efficiently and effectively with minimum disruption with business units production requirements* Be fully conversant with IT systems, Word, Excel, SAP database & Project * You will provide Rail technical expertise/guidance to all site areas for all rail infrastructure site Services activities and over time become the Tata responsible person for the Tata Steel Track standardBenefits: * A market competitive salary * 35 days holidays per annum * Annual Pay Review * Quarterly Bonus Scheme - subject to business performance * Private Healthcare Scheme (Individual cover) * 10% employer contribution/6% employee contribution pension schemesThe Business:Tata Steel is one of the worlds top 10 steel producers.
