Job DescriptionStaff 365 are looking to recruit a number of Production Operatives for our client based in Ripley.There are immediate starts available and this work is paid weekly.Shifts AvailableStatic Days 6am to 6pm - 4 on, 4 off including weekends on a rota which includes a weekend shift allowanceStatic Nights 6pm to 6am - 4 on, 4 off including weekends on a rota which includes a weekend shift allowancePurpose of Role:The Production Operative will be responsible for finishing, checking and packing parts in preparation for collection and delivery to the customer. This will also include meeting set targets on the production line to ensure that the overall production plan is achieved. The Production Operative will ensure that standard procedures are adhered to in order to meet quality targets and drive minimum scrap % on their line.Main duties and responsibilitiesEnsure that production requirements and standards are met consistentlyEnsure that all required quality checks are carried out as per the company standardsCarry out daily tasks on the production line with consistent speed and accuracyOperate machinery safely and effectively, in line with the correct operating proceduresReport any machinery issues to managementWork cooperatively with the production team to meet customer requirements and team targetsMaintain a clean and safe work areaObserve all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to managementAssist the team in additional processes such as machine start up, shut down and line change overs.Contribute to waste management programsKeys SkillsBasic numeracy and literacy skillsGood communication and listening skillsGood attention to detailAbility to self-motivatePositive attitude and willingness to work as part of a teamDesirableKnowledge of manufacturing processes, especially the plastics industry would be beneficial.Staff 365 are an Employment business and equal opportunities employer Required skills
