Job Description

Staff 365 are looking to recruit a permanent maintenance engineer for our client based in Ripley to work on static Continental night shifts (4 night on 4 nights off)DetailsStatic Nights: 12 hours 4 on, 4 off 6pm to 6amStart date: ASAPPay: A market competitive rate depending on experience and knowledge.Duties:

  • Ensuring that company and legislated Health and Safety procedures are adhered to.
  • Diagnosing faults.
  • Repairing equipment.
  • Obtaining components, fixtures or fittings.
  • Maintaining equipment records and other records as required.
  • Creating maintenance procedures.
  • Managing stocks of supplies and equipment.
  • Carrying out quality inspections.
  • Check the fire alarm points weekly, including fire exits.
Criteria:To apply for this position, you will be apprentice trained, time served or electrically qualified.Other requirements:
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Efficiency and organisational skills
  • Team working skills
  • Good electrical and mechanical maintenance skills
  • Relevant technical knowledge
  • Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement practices would be advantageous
  • 17th Edition /18th Edition is desirable
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer is essential
  • Proven experience of electrical fault finding
  • Upvc / Extrusion Industry specific experience is desirable
