Job Description

Staff 365 are looking to recruit a HR Administrator for our client based in Ripley.Location: Denby, RipleyFixed Term contract initially for 6 monthsSalary: 18 to 18.5kOffice basedHours: Monday to Friday 8:30-5:00, one hour lunchYou will provide support to the HR department through a variety of administration tasks. The HR Administrator will be the first port of call for HR related queries.DUTIES

  • update and maintain Employee personnel files
  • update the HR trackers, including leavers, absence, disciplinary and grievance
  • support in ad-hoc admin tasks such as scanning, filing and shredding
  • prepare HR letters such as meeting invitations and outcome letters
  • liaise with departments and book in HR meetings such as disciplinaries, absence reviews
  • support with some HR case management such as maternity, paternity, absence and flexible working
  • track and provide admin support for Probationary periods
  • book and co-ordinate internal training
  • provide support for HR projects or processes such as Engagement Survey, pay reviews, appraisals
  • support the administration relating to Brexit and Visas
  • carry out exit interviews
KEY SKILLS
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proven ability to operate independently and take the initiative to plan workload
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised and have the ability to prioritise
EXPERIENCE
  • Proven experience in an administration type role
  • Experience in a HR administration/ Assistant role - desirable
  • Experience of dealing with confidential information
KNOWLEDGE
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications (e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent understanding of GDPR
  • Some understanding of employment law - desirable
EDUCATION/TRAINING
  • Essential- GCSE English Language and Maths Grade C and above
  • Desirable- CIPD Level 3 / A-level in Business Management or similar subject
