Warehouse OperativeThis is a full-time and permanent opportunity to join our busy warehouse environment in Marchington. The warehouse operative team process incoming deliveries; clean, test or refurbish all our used parts; and put together orders large and small for packing andshipping. The day will fly by as we often have a quick turnaround, but youll find a lot of training, support and a great team spirit. The role will involve packing orders from our in-house stock. This busy role requires concentration, motivation and energy; everybody works under pressure to reach deadlines. You will work closely with other warehouse teams, so you need to have good communicationskills, a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Key responsibilities include:Pack and label orders for shipmentFollow company guidelines regarding packaging with high attention to detailPerforming packing operations in accordance with time, quality and quantity targetsQuality Control of processed stock / packaged items, ensuring it meets company standards for customer satisfactionUse of bespoke internal database to aid in product accuracy checksLiaising with other warehouse teamsKeeping your working area clean and stocked and ready to workReplenishing packaging machines with packing materials (e.g. bubble wrap, wrapping / strapping)Ensure all processes and working practices comply to Company / Site procedures.Maintain compliance to Health and Safety policy and all other associated Accreditations and procedures.Essential Hard working, proactive and independentOrganised, responsible and trustworthyStrong Attention to detail - youll need to be able to follow strict operational guidelinesAbility to problem solving and to use your own initiativeAbility to work under pressure, prioritising workload and multitaskingAdaptability to changing daily tasksProfessional demeanour with team members across our organisationPrevious warehousing and packaging experience is advantageous but not essential. Interested in the way our business works with creative plans on how to improve itOpen-minded and eager to learn, and keen to share your own experience for the benefit of othersDesirable: Forklift driving qualification - training can be provided to those with no qualificationThis job is commutable from the following areas, Burton on Trent,Draycott in the Clay, Uttoxetere and surrounding areas.
