Job Description

Do you have strong quality experience within a manufacturing background We are looking for experienced candidates to work for a well established and reputable company who have full order books. Producing components for a variety of industries to includescientific, medical and printing, this company works with a variety of customers.Roles with this company rarely come up as they have a good staff retention rate and a good team environment.You will ideally have experience working to ISO9001 standards and be able to work accurately in a bust environment.Start: ASAPHours: 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday- FridayLocation: March, CambridgeshireDuration: PermanentSalary: £28,000 - £30,000 DOEBenefits: 22 days holiday (increasing by one day per year up to 25 days), Pension scheme, Shares in company after 2 years service (chance to earn dividends based on profits)Duties To Include:

  • Inspection of parts to customer specifications to include first off, in process and final inspection.
  • Approve finished products from the companies outsourced processes
  • Log any rejected items in the non-conformance files and investigate
  • Management of the companies ISO9001 Management system
  • Ensuring compliance for all aspects of quality to include REACH, Rohs and conflict of minerals
  • Record, analyse and distribute quality information
  • Management of internal and external Calibration of all equipment and gauges
  • Interpret technical drawings
  • Produce FAIR reports with blown up bubble drawings
  • Monitor data analysis with non-conformities to drive continuous improvement
  • Provide feedback on production issues as and when they arise
  • Other duties as required and requested by the business
Skills/Experience Required:
  • Strong Quality experience within a manufacturing background (metals manufacturing background would be an advantage
  • Experience with ISO9001 Quality systems
  • Adaptable to work on your own and as part of a team
  • A good attention to detail
  • The ability to work accurately within a busy environment
  • Well organised and able to proritise effectively
  • The ability to use a range of manual measurement equipment in digital callipers, micrometres, height gauges.
  • Experience in using a AMM (Aberlink) machine would be useful however not essential
  • Good verbale, written and communication skills
  • Computer literate
