Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a temporary Engineering Administratorto join our clients Engineering Team based in March, CambridgeshireThe company is an incredibly exciting place to work, at the forefront of modern farming and food distribution means it’s fast-paced, stimulating, and rewarding.They work with the biggest food retail brands in the UK and Europe and want people who will do what’s right for them and their customers.Role Requirements & Responsibilities

  • To generate parts/service request number from quotation sent to you.
  • After approval of the request number, generate a purchase order number (always place the delivery time at 30 days).
  • Send the official order over to the supplier/company.
  • Keep updated the order summary book to update all parties on the positions of all orders.
  • Check/match the invoices to order and address any invoice issues.
  • Work with the Account’s teams at Barway to resolve the department invoice errors.
  • To be used as a JDE superuser to help our clients sites JDE problems.
  • To obtain engineering parts/service quotations.
  • To help with updating the computer stores Hayley’s system and place the parts in stock.
  • Come up with, build/install a system with KPIs to monitor the effectiveness of the Engineering Departments use of JDE, with times, costs or all areas of the department JDE function.
  • To set up a system monitoring invoices, quotations and the differences between them and the reasons why. Place into graph form so that this can be reported upon weekly.
  • Update the Waste database matching the invoices with the Hudson waste load information.
  • Candidate Requirements
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages.
  • Team Player.
  • Be able to work using your own initiative.
  • Organisation and planning skills.
  • Have great attention to detail, good verbal, numerical and communication skills.
  • Have a “can-do” proactive approach to work.
  • Hours of work: 3 days per week – 8 hours per day
