Electrical & Mechanical Fitter Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 Location: March, Cambridgeshire Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday Immediate Start Interaction has partnered up with a well-established global agricultural service based in Peterborough. My client is looking for skilled fitters to join the team. This is a workshop-based position, performing maintenance and repairs from heavy goods vehicles,plant equipment, and agricultural machinery. This is a great for someone with a background in heavy goods, ex - military or plant engineering. *Trainee Position available at lower rate - No qualifications needed, just the right attitude and a full UK driving licence* The Role: Service, maintain and repair a range of agricultural machinery, mainly crop sprayers Carry out routine inspections, maintenance and repairs on all makes of heavy agricultural machinery Both Electrical and Mechanical maintenance (Fault finding, planned maintenance) Working with Hydraulics and Pneumatics Ensure work is completed and relevant compliance is filled out (job cards, service sheets, etc) Complete MOT Prep ensuring the vehicles are road safe Work as a team to complete inspections Follow Health and Safety to comply with legislation and company procedures The Candidate: Hold relevant qualifications - NVQ Level 3 or equivalents (HGV Mechanics, agricultural, heavy plant) Minimum 2 years working in a similar position A full UK driving license must be held The ability to work using your own initiative and as a team A keen eye for detail Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
