    • Here’s where you come in: We are a seeking a self-motivated Lab Technician with a positive attitude to join our growing Medical Supplies Laboratory. You will be working in one our state-of-the art medical supplies facility, preparing, testing and analysing samples using a variety of microbiology, molecular biology and chemistry. You will have experience of working in a similar lab and working to UKAS standards. It would be beneficial if you have previous experience in medical supplies testing (i.e. facemasks) although this is not essential, you just need to be a dependable team player with a can do-attitude who is flexible in your approach to work.Your working pattern will be either Sunday - Thursday 08.30 - 17:30 or Tuesday - Saturday 08.30 - 17:30.What Essential Skills are we looking for
  • Relevant qualifications: Science at GCSE is essential and biology at A-level or above is beneficial
  • Experience of working in an active lab
  • Experience of working according to UKAS standards
  • Attention to detail and good record keeping skills
  • Experience of general lab maintenance
  • Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
  • Work independently in a busy, active environment and collaborates well with others
  • Take health and safety seriously
