Job Description

Do you want to join a global leader within the training and education sector We have an amazing opportunity available for an experienced IQA Manager to join an award-winning work-based learning provider. Based in South Yorkshire, we are looking for an IQA Manager to oversee all internal quality assurance and ensure learners are receiving a consistent and positive end point assessment (EPA) experience.£28,000 - £31,00030 holiday days (rising every year)Ongoing CPD opportunitiesIQA Manager job duties:

  • Oversee all initial and ongoing standardisation sessions to ensure consistency, with support of Senior Management and Assessors where required.
  • Monitor completion of initial and ongoing standardisation and update the relevant systems to demonstrate compliance.
  • Responsible for the overall implementation, ownership and tracking of the Assessment Team Improvement Plan.
  • Overall responsibility for the quality strategy and policy including sampling strategy and ensuring this is always adhered to.
  • Moderate internal quality disagreements and potential assessment issues, ensuring that issues are fed back to relevant teams and individuals and that a fair and valid conclusion is reached.
  • Supporting SMT to ensure consistency amongst all end point assessments and adherence to assessment plans.
  • Ensure that internal quality assurance observations are planned and completed in a timely manner feeding back any concerns to the assessor managers.
  • Deal with appeals and enquiries into results and feeding back to stakeholders.
  • Complete IQA and EPA activities within own area of specialism as and when required.
  • Qualifications and skills:
  • A1 / TAQA / V1 / D34 (Essential)
  • Previous experience as an IQA Manager / Internal Quality Assurance Lead.
  • High level of mediation skills and the ability to take on board all points of view whilst reaching a positive outcome.
  • Have a proactive and preventative approach to ensure quality and compliance is upheld for all customers.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organisational skills, particularly when dealing with a large and varied case load.
