Job Description

Champion better experiences as a retentions adviserWere supporting our clients as they adapt to the unprecedented circumstances brought about by COVID-19. As a result, were currently only recruiting for essential roles during this time. Right now, were helping O2 to keep their customers connected to their family and friends, on a contract that they can afford. Were looking for retentions advisers to join our O2 team, which is usually based at our Dearne Valley site. As a retentions adviser, youll be a Key Worker, youll help people to adapt to the ongoing Covid-19 crisis by ensuring they have the best contract deal for their current situation. Youll have full training before you begin, and youll be supported with dedicated mentors and buddies to help you learn and develop. Well work with you every step of the way to make sure youre getting the most out of your role and your career.What youll be doing:

  • Handling customer queries via live chat and other real-time internet applications, email or telephone calls
  • helping customers to find the right, affordable contract for them
  • asking the right questions to make sure you can find the best deal for customers
  • ensuring that customers feel valued and appreciated
  • following a script as you speak to customers.

  • an inquisitive mind with a passion for making sure every customer leaves happy
  • organisational skills and a great attention to detail
  • an interest in learning and finding out more about O2 and our products
  • a basic understanding of how to use computers and good written and spoken English.
