Job Description

Trainee ParaplannerMansfield, Nottinghamshire - Office Based roleSalary up to £25,000 a year - full-time, permanentVacancy Ref AL1255My client is a forward-thinking IFA organisation and they have been successfully advising client for over 35 years. They now have an exciting opportunity for an individual who wishes to pursue a career within Wealth Management.The RoleThe role involves providing high levels of technical and administrative support whilst working alongside the financial advisers. Researching financial products, analysing data, and formulating financial plans for clients are key activities for the role.Key ResponsibilitiesResearch and Recommendations

  • Provide research and analysis of investments funds and financial products.
  • Conduct fund research
  • Review asset allocation for investment/pension holdings
  • Complete financial cashflow forecasts
  • Prepare financial plans for clients
  • Obtain applications, key features documents, factsheets, illustrations and product comparison quotes
  • Prepare suitability reports
Team Working
  • Build strong working relationships with all colleagues
  • Provide support and assistance to other team members
  • Undertake project work and additional duties as and when required
Training and Technical Knowledge
  • Undertake regular training sessions with paraplanners and financial advisers
  • Successful completion of required exams
  • Update industry and product knowledge
Compliance
  • Maintain client records on Intelliflo to ensure an audit trail
  • Treat customers fairly at all times
  • Act in accordance with FCA Regulations
  • Treat all data confidentiality
Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum GCSE level 4 in English and Maths
  • A level in English and Maths (desirable)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to effectively organise their own time and work to deadlines
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to think creatively
