Mansfield District Council has an exciting opportunity available for a Neighbourhood Warden to join the team based in Mansfield. You will join on a full-time, permanent basis (37 hours per week)and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £20,444 - £22,129 per annum, plus casual car user payment as necessary plus Saturday Enhancement and Night Rate.Mansfield is a great place to work, we offer great benefits including a very generous holiday entitlement, up to 36 days per year, local government pension and hybrid and flexible working.The Neighbourhood Warden Role:We are currently looking for one new Neighbourhood Warden who will have the drive to make a significant contribution to ensuring Mansfield District is a safe and caring place, facilitating everyone the opportunity to succeed. This will be achieved in thispost by addressing anti-social behaviour, environmental crime and associated community cohesion.The Community Safety team contributes to the achievement of the Councils corporate Vision, to grow an ambitious vibrant and confident place in Mansfield. We pride ourselves on strong partnership working and effective problem solving. We deliver evidenceled and quality services.Your responsibilities as our Neighbourhood Warden:Working as part of the Neighbourhood Warden Service, which forms part of the Community Safety Hub, you will be responsible for district wide issues that require problem solving solutions, partnership working and where appropriate reactive approaches.The issues you will manage will vary including continuous environmental nuisances, anti-social behaviour situations to dealing with abandoned vehicles. You will be expected to issue fixed penalty notices for various offences including, littering, fly tipping,dog fouling and enforcing current PSPOs. You will be expected to engage with schools, businesses and the community. The majority of your working day will be spent carrying out high visibility foot patrols, showing a smart uniformed presence, where communityengagement is paramount.What were looking for in our Neighbourhood Warden:
