ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Senior Nurse (RMN) at a Barchester Independent Mental Health Hospital, youll use your leadership skills to deliver the quality care and support were known for. Your professional judgement will be used to make critical clinical decisions,from assessing the needs of a new patient to ordering, administrating and auditing medicines in line with NMC regulations. As part of your wide range of responsibilities, youll closely manage the team rota and support your team to deliver the highest standardsof nursing through mentoring and appraisals.To enable you to provide the best possible care we will provide you with ongoing opportunities for CPD and career progression. As a Senior Nurse specialising in mental health, youll have the freedom and autonomy to do things the right wayand be trulyvalued and respected for what you do.ABOUT YOUTo join us as a Senior Nurse (RMN), youll need to be a Registered Nurse (RMN) with a current NMC registration and a mentor or supervision qualification. Experience of delivering excellent care to patients with mental ill-health, producing care plans and detailedrisk assessments is important. Well also look for an up-to-date knowledge on the most recent clinical practices and regulatory frameworks, including MHA/DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines. Youll be a natural leader and problem solver who has workedwith people with a range of mental illnesses and acted as a clinical mentor, including supporting newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship.
