Job Description

CK Group are recruiting for a Production Assistant to join a Leading supplier of tests for the food industry at their site based in Mansfield on a permanent basis.The Company:Our client is a well established company that develop and manufacture test kits and assays to a growing international customer base. The Role:

  • Production and QC testing of the range of reagents.
  • Production of diagnostic kits to fulfil requirements, including preparation of chemical reagents and assay components such as coated diagnostic microwell plates
  • To aid in the timely manufacture of all diagnostic kits, produced in accordance with current quality standards (ISO 9001:2015).
Responsibilities:
  • Producing the range of reagents and diagnostic kits and assays in accordance with GMP and current quality standards
  • Preparation of coated microwell plates including Streptavidin plates
  • Preparation of diagnostic reagents
  • Completing quality-controlled forms (Batch Manufacturing Record) paperwork in their entirety in a neat and readable manner
  • Dispensing of reagents with some heavy lifting required.
  • Preparation of ‘basic’ microbiology culture media
  • Participate in ‘basic’ microbiological techniques such as cell enumeration and ‘basic’ confirmatory tests
  • To actively participate in the QC analysis of all diagnostic kits manufactured
  • Packing of diagnostic kits (and microwell plates)
  • Maintaining correct storage of both raw materials and finished goods
  • Working with software systems such as Microsoft Office, QPulse and SAGE
