Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a specialist design and manufacturing company who are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer.The company design and manufacture multiple technical products and have extensive UK based machine shop manufacturing and test facilities.The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for: - Detailed design of new products from concept through to production- Product modifications to create improvements, reduce costs and improve production- Carryout prototype testing and product trials- Produce 3D CAD designs using SolidworksThe Mechanical Design Engineer will need: - Extensive experience in the design of mechanical based products - A relevant Mechanical Engineering qualification- A good level of competency on Solidworks- Experience of running development projects from concept to manufacture- Experience of working in a similar machining based manufacturing environmentElevation Engineering & Manufacturing is a specialist division within Elevation Recruitment Group; Specialising in the recruitment of Senior Projects; Design; Engineering positions Yorkshire and the surrounding regions.
