Job Description

A leading healthcare distribution company is looking for a Llop Loader/HGV Shunter to join the warehouse team in Huthwaite. Along with a salary of £12.85 per hour, you will receive weekly pay (every Friday), overtime paid at £19.27 per hour, and 24-hoursupport.This role will consist of loading pallets using a PPT/LLOP, onto wagons and then parking the wagons up/shunting ready for the drivers to come in and make deliveries, these areHGV Class 2 Vehicles. These will be driven on private land, as well as some shortdistance depot to depot driving. You will need experience in driving and reversing big vehicles.As Llop Loader/HGV Shunter, your responsibilities will include:

  • Loading palletised goods onto HGV vehicles
  • Backing HGV vehicles onto docks to be loaded.
  • Shunting
  • Manual Handling
  • Goods In/out
  • Loading and unloading Lorries
  • LLOP/PPT experience preferred
  • Maintaining Health & Safety standards
We’re looking for a Llop Loader/HGV Shunter with the following:
  • Previous Cat C1, C or C + E driving experience or previous shunting experience is required. New passes welcome.
  • Full valid UK driving licence held for at least 12 months due to insurance requirements.
  • HGV Licence/experience
  • Immediate availability
  • Warehouse/LLOP/PPT/FLT experience preferred
  • Be competent at securing loads.
  • Be flexible in your approach to work.
  • Llop or PPT experience is preferred.
