Do you enjoy the technical side of finance around IFRS standards, but, also crave a bit of variety in your role too across other areas of financeIf so, this could be the best of both worlds for you.Were currently supporting an SME in North Nottingham to recruit their next Financial Accountant. It will suit someone with strong IFRS 15 knowledge either from studies or practical work, it will allow you to use your technical skills. It will also let you build on business partnering, budgeting, forecasting experience too. Youll manage and develop one person too. Its a really broad role and has scope to grow further over time too.Its based in North Notts, but the company embraces flexible working therefore 2-3 days from home in the future is certainly possible too. Currently the team are in the main working from home too.They care about results and deliverables more. It is a full-time job though, should you need some flex on start and finish times they are very open to this.The role can be moulded slightly for the right person so it could suit someone newly qualified, or someone with a good few years PQE.The Role· Production and review of annual statutory accounts including liaison with external auditors at year end· Be the team’s go to person around IFRS15 queries and management - you wont need to have all the answers now, but a desire to look into new things around it.· Production and review of full budgeting and forecasting process· Cash flow management along with analysis· Balance sheet management and review of controls· Management of taxation processes· Development and management of 1 direct report· Financial analysis and management of strategic projects· Business partnering to a breadth of stakeholders in the businessRequirements:· ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified· IFRS 15 knowledge from studies or auditDistinct Recruitment Privacy Policy
