Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a leading specialist manufacturing company who are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer.The company designs, manufactures and installs specialist building products used in prestigious projects. They offer an innovative approach for their customers delivering expertly designed solutions in often challenging physical environments.Working in a diverse and fast-paced environment you will be key to the continued delivery of designs and the ongoing development of the design team.The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Preparing electrical specifications, BOM’s and wiring diagrams
  • Supporting the delivery of projects from concept to commissioning
  • Providing advice at all stages of projects
  • Support and help manage a small team of engineers
  • Designing electrical control panels and boards
The Electrical Design Engineer will need:
  • Previous electrical design experience
  • An electrical background, either degree qualified or apprentice trained
  • Experience working in a project-led manufacturing environment
  • Good knowledge of wiring regulations and ideally 18th-edition
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead others
