Please feel free to talk about what flexibility means to you at your interview.Our Assistant Development Manager role:This is an exciting opportunity to join the newly forming Innovation By-Product & Service Delivery Team as an Assistant Development Manager, where you’ll be supporting the team in proactively managing our established customer accounts, whilst growing and fostering strong relationships and identifying innovative opportunities for new products and services to be developed and taken to market to help future proof and diversify the Coal Authority’s portfolio.Responsibilities of our Assistant Development Manager:- Building and maintaining strong long-lasting relationships with customers that result in trust, confidence and business growth for existing and new business- Operating as the lead point of contact for any matters specific to your customer/s, ensuring the timely and effective management of interactions- Leading regular meetings with customers, documenting and recording minutes and actions appropriately, and communicating any relevant information to the management team- Implementing and maintaining a strategic Account Plan for your client portfolio that adds value to the Coal Authority and the customer- Supporting the Executive Leadership Team and Heads of Departments in the delivery of customer management support- Working with other Government organisations, to identify opportunities for us to support these organisations in dealing with mining legacy, reduce risk and improve cross-organisation working- Identifying new potential market opportunities through horizon scanning and being aware of what our suppliers, peers and competitors are doing- Supporting the Product Manager by identifying improvements and key customer feedback to improve customer journey and value of key products and services- Producing and distributing performance dashboards to key stakeholders and customers-Producing and delivering effective communications to the customer base-Assisting with high severity requests or issue escalations as neededWhat we’re looking for in ourAssistant Development Manager:- Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with customers- An ability to work closely with colleagues across the organisation to deliver objectives- Experience in mine energy, heat, by-products and/or other related industries- An eye of spotting new opportunities- Commercial awareness- Effective communication, organisational skills and be able to converse with a wide range of professionals at all levelsIf you believe you are the right candidate for the role as our Assistant Development Manager then please click ‘apply’ now!
