Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate teacher to join our primary Team. The position involves working with pupils with varying emotional needs, requiring the ability to navigate and address the complexities inherent in the classroomdynamics. Tradewind are seeking to appoint an energetic and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher for an attractive opportunity at a reputable primary school based in Manchester.This position will commence after February half term until May half term on a part-time basis. Moreover, as a UNICEF Rights Respecting School, it genuinely values the rights, opinions, and voices of children.The competitive pay rate for this position is between £150 and £210 per day, depending on experience.Year 4 TeacherThe successful and independent teacher will be responsible for a class which includes a pupil with specific medical needs. You will be supported by a Teaching Assistant.Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Develop compelling lessons that adhere to the KS2 National Curriculum guidelines and complement the schools creative curriculum.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of age-appropriate expectations for KS2 students, providing appropriate scaffolding and challenges to optimize individual educational outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of data, conducting analyses to identify areas for reteaching and address learning gaps, ensuring consistently high levels of attainment.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with all students, fostering an environment of trust and mutual respect.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with Teaching Assistants, key stage colleagues, and wider staff, actively sharing advice, resources, and best practices to enhance overall teamwork and effectiveness.
