Job: Workplace Curriculum ManagerArea: Training Development, Greater Manchester Fire and RescueSalary: £32,234- £35,745 ( Grade 7 )Contract: PermanentLocation: Various training sites across GMFRS.Closing date is 12/11/2021 at 23:59*** To make a full application please visit our website Greater.Jobs***Your role:The Workplace Curriculum Manager role will be responsible for creating, reviewing and revising a career pathway map illustrating how to get from one role to another across the organisation and what qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience would berequired.To subsequently manage the development and maintenance of appropriate curricula for all roles within the organisation and the Firefighter apprenticeship programme. Liaising with Heads of Department to ensure all role specific training needs are identifiedand included in their curricula.About you:The ideal candidate will appreciate the need to work flexibly and creatively as part of an effective team to develop constructive solutions that support the organisation. Demonstrate effective organisational skills and implement new systems of working. Takeresponsibility for own effectiveness to establish a clear sense of purpose and achieve shared goals. Be proactive in their approach to influence and support others.Experience:

  • Developing and managing curricula and career pathways
  • Well-rounded ICT experience, working with databases and systems, including design, development and implementation to meet user needs
  • Working within an operational environment or educational establishment
  • Working within a high functioning multi-disciplined team with workload interdependencies
  • Working with other individuals, departments and teams, liaising, collaborating, negotiating and delivering tangible, high-quality outcomes or products
  • Creating and/or maintaining consistency, accuracy, and integrity of database content
Qualifications, or willingness to work toward:
  • Educated to Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training standard, or relevant equivalent experience in a similar role
  • PRINCE2 or other recognised project management qualification (desirable)
  • Level 3 Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring or equivalent (desirable)
