Job Description

This is a new role due to growth as the business is rapidly growing in size and due to the influx of orders need you the Wholesale Account Manager / Assistant Buyerto attend meetings, follow the critical path etc. This role would suit someone who enjoys a fast paced environment and has strong admin skills.Client DetailsA great opportunity for a Wholesale Account Manager / Assistant Buyer to join a leading ladies fashion Ecommerce retail business who have both wholesale & retail parts of the company. They supply their branded products to ASOS etc. And has seen year on year growth.DescriptionWorking on a fast paced key customer accounts.

  • Responsible for maintaining the flow of accurate data and ensuring that all relevant files, Critical Paths and Sample Test Reports are kept up-to-date.
  • Responsible for the whole process from sample and development stage, through to production, shipping and delivery. Ensuring all deadlines are met and are in accordance with customer standards.
  • Liaising with Far East and UK factories via email and telephone on a daily basis.
  • Attending customer meetings and building customer relationships
  • Checking and approving fit samples.
  • Raising, managing and tracking purchase orders, amending where necessary.
  • Organising required lab dips and bulk fabric submissions for customer approval, and be confident to approve them in house where necessary
  • Booking in stock and setting up product codes.
  • Identifying production and supply chain issues and dealing with any problems/ delays as they arise.
  • Ensure the correct quality submissions are submitted to the customer within lead-times.
  • Enabling approvals on time and ensuring shipment and delivery to customer is on time.
  • Following up any problems / quality issues which arise.
  • Relaying product information between the team - new developments or changes to orders.
  • Relay product information between customers and factories by telephone and e-mail.
  • Liaising with import department to ensure they are informed of any delivery amendments.
  • Working with the designers, garment techs, suppliers and customer.
  • Profile
  • MUST have 1 years experience in a similar role within fashion.
  • Ideally be a Fashion Graduate (Buying and Merchandising Degree or similar).
  • Ideally have experience with liaising with the Far East.
  • Highly organized and can handle a busy workload in a fast paced demanding business
  • Fully computer literate with strong Excel and Word skills.
  • Able to follow a critical path.
  • Must have strong attention to detail
