Job Description

Web Developer | Node.JS/JavaScript | EdTech | Manchester/Hybrid | Up to £42kLangham Recruitment are excited to be working with an innovative and engaging Ed Tech company, known for their expert-backed educational content combined with their immersive experiences and augmented reality. They are looking for a Web Developer with Node.JS and JavaScript/React experience to help create and maintain the award-winning scalable, modern learning platform that provides professional educational services to 150,000 users worldwide.Responsibilities:

  • Enhance CMS and develop Analytics Portal collaboratively.
  • Help build a scalable, secure platform for content management.
  • Optimise app performance with techniques like code splitting and lazy loading.
  • Implement components using React.js.
  • Improve database queries and API calls for efficiency.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers for seamless integration.
  • Conduct thorough testing for reliability and user satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Highly proficient in Node.JS
  • JavaScript experience (ideally in React)
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in a commercial environment
  • Confident in independent working
Nice to have:
  • Any of the following stack: AWS, PostreSQL, ThreeJS; Go; Git; SourceTree; Typescript; Bitbucket; MBaaS
