Job Description

I am working with one of my established clients who is looking to recruit professional & experienced Wayleaves Professional/Manager & ideally with specific knowledge of Telecoms/Utilities (Civils & Cabling) in their Greater Manchesteroffices.

  1. Summary Overview:
  • The successful candidate will be agile and creative to determine a range of solutions to gain permissions to deliver fibre at pace, on budget with maximum coverage.
  • The strategy will mean that customers on private roads or apartment buildings will be able to have fibre delivered to their premise and enjoy the benefits that ultra-fast broadband provides.
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders, the acquisition of all relevant statutory and non-statutory consents will be vital to narrow the gap between premises passed and premises serviceable.
  • This is not a back-office role; you will be proactive in using data and insights to create plans, and have the drive, resilience and relationship building skills to execute them to time, cost and quality.
  • Whilst the role is currently a sole contributor, it will grow in time to include line management of a specialist team.
  • You will be key to shaping and leading the broader service offering.
    1. Key Requirements/Knowledge/Experience:
    2.1 Essential
  • Background in property/land rights.
  • Knowledge of land, property, new build planning/permissions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Agility/creativity to develop and execute strategy to acquire rights to install fibre.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
    • 2.2 Desirable
  • New build developer experience.
  • Property law awareness.
  • Great understanding of the property market.
  • Experience of working with local authorities and large freeholder organisations.
    1. Package:
  • Perm £45,000 - £50,000 p.a. (Subject to Experience).
  • 28-Days holiday, including public holidays p.a.
