Job Description

Managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, managing a team of warehouse operatives to maximise productivity and work to KPIs. This role is in Kendal with a generous re-location package on offer.Client DetailsThe client is a household name in home and cookware, with stores nationwide supplying customers both in-store and through e-commerce.DescriptionThe key responsibilities for the Warehouse Operations Manager based in Kendal will be;

  • Reporting into the Head of operations you will be managing a team of warehouse operatives.
  • Be responsible for inbound, pick and outbound operations.
  • Have full control of the operational budget and manage set KPIs.
  • Take part and be hands on when required.
  • Accountable for people development and performance management within the operation.
  • This role will require re-location to Kendal (generous re-location package on offer)
ProfileThe successful candidate for the role of Warehouse Operations Manager in Kendal will have the following skills and experience:
  • A logistics distribution/supply chain background.
  • Experience in managing a Warehouse.
  • Experience working in a fast paced, moving warehouse.
  • Have experience in managing a team
  • Be results driven and commercially minded.
  • Experience in a E-commerce environment would be a distinct advantage.
  • Experience in a home/kitchenware distribution warehouse would be an advantage.
  • This role will require re-location to Kendal (generous re-location package on offer)
