Manage day to day warehousing and internal logistics operations (mill reels warehouse including automation system, trailer park operations, yards including quality control, plastics canopy area, weighbridge area and rejects area) to assure continuity onflows, resources and information/systems.Client DetailsOur client is a global packaging manufacturer with a large facility based in Trafford.DescriptionThis is an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Manager to further their career.Responsibilities will include managing day to day internal logistics operations to assure continuity on flows, resources and information/systems; Daily walk arounds and KPIs; Daily/Monthly/quarterly reviews with internal 3PLs in coordination with LogisticsServices; Keep the team prepared on contingency plans; Stock level management; Control internal logistics costs; Manage service contracts defined by Logistics Services; And manage Internal 3PL Master plan.Other duties will include following site H&S procedures at all times, reporting any problems and issues immediately; continuous assessment and improvement on people / vehicle segregation areas; Define safety norms for internal operations ensuring 3PL areadhering to; Lead 3PL H&S audits; and issues work permits in area of responsibility.You will also manage areas of quality control and provide continuous analysis from production end to warehouse; management of all quality aspects within areas and act accordingly; and manage any customer claims related to internal logistics / warehousingactivities.ProfileYou will have a strong background in warehouse management for a manufacturing organisation. You will also have proven experiences managing 3PL contracts and warehouse H&S policies.Ideally, you will have FLT fleet management experience and AGV / automatic warehouse environment experience.Job OfferYou will receive a competitive salary, performance related bonus between 10-15%, pension, and a range of flexible benefits.
