This role is located in MANCHESTER (UNITED KINGDOM) - HYBRID.In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:Help develop and implement a formal data ethics framework for BNY Mellon, including policy, controls, assessment methodology, operating model and toolingDrive the adoption of the data ethics methodology and tooling, with appropriate checks and monitoring across business and technology teamsProvide subject matter expertise to data science teams and business/technology change initiatives to assess and mitigate data ethics risksDevelop and deliver data ethics training and awareness initiativesTo be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experienceTechnically proficient data professional with relevant experience in data ethics, data governance, data privacy and/or data risk/complianceWorking knowledge of data ethics principles, industry standards, legal/regulatory requirements and supporting toolsAn execution-focused and results-oriented individual who collaborates well with others, has strong communication skills, can manage multiple priorities and drive change effectivelyAt BNY Mellon, our inclusive culture speaks for itself.
