Job Description

Interaction Recruitment are pleased to be working alongside of our client who specialises in the tool hire industry that are based in Manchester.Our client is currently recruiting for a Driver / Fitter to join their team on a permanent basis.The Position -You will be required to deliver and collect a range of specialist equipment within the flooring prep industry.You will be expected to assist with the loading / unload of the vehicle.You will also be required to carry out any servicing / testing of the equipment – this also includes the cleaning / maintenance of the equipment once collected.The Candidate -

  • To be successful for the position, you will have previous experience of delivering machinery or small tools to either businesses or constructions sites.
  • You are required to have a full UK driving – entitlement of 3.5T vans with more than 6 points – No DR’s DD’s or IN’s due to insurance.
  • Ideally if you have previous experience PAT testing with machinery or small tools – this is desirable but not essential as full training will also be provided.
The Salary & Working Hours:
  • Monday to Friday, working 08:00am – 17:00pm (1 hours lunch)
  • Occasional Saturdays that will be paid at time and a half.
  • 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays – No working on BH or Sundays!
  • The salary is £22k with a salary review within the first 3 months.
