Our client, an outstanding privately owned dealer group in the North West, who retail market leading prestige and luxury brands, has an opportunity to grow their used car buying team and therefore seek an additional used car buyer to join the ranks.You must have a sound understanding of the car market, be commercially agile with the ability to respond to the market and be constantly on the look out for great cars.As a used car buyer you will be a tenacious self starter, with the ability to manage your own time to prospect customers using internal databases and systems, building great relationships with customers and members of the public.Whilst working as part of the wider used car buying / sales team, you must also be comfortable working on your own initiative, making a high volume of calls to customers to generate potential leads.A superb customer manner with a can do attitude. You will be driven to achieve goals/targets using your confidence, flair and determination, whilst operating with the upmost integrity.This used car buyer role comes with a lot of autonomy and trust. You will have access to offices within their dealer network but ultimately you are trusted to be out and about, securing the best used cars for their business.You must be North West based, ideally within an hour of Greater Manchester. Previous used car sales management and/or used car buying experience is highly desirable.In return you will be paid a competitive basic salary and a percentage of the profit your cars generate for the business.
